We would like to thank a father who sent us his thoughts. We have no idea who he is as it was sent anonymously.
This is very well said …
IS IT?
I'm fully vaccinated and also had my booster. No, I don't know "what's in it".
I am fully vaccinated and I did an in-depth research, reading both sides of the argument, and even spoke to experts to find out which vaccine was best for me. I wanted to wait for one of the Canadian ones but it seems Mr Trudeau had other plans for me and I do have to feed my family so I picked Pfizer. It was also difficult to do so as two medical workers at injection sites actually had the nerve to tell me that I should just take what ever they had and mix. This is exactly the opposite of what pharmaceutical companies advised.
Neither this vaccine or the ones I had as a child. Nor do I know what's in the 11 secret herbs and spices at KFC.
I actually do what the vaccines had in them because my parents took the time to research them and I continue to do so as a protective parent. Vaccines and KFC, how does that comparison even happen?
I also don't know exactly what's in Ibuprofen or any other painkiller-- they just treat my headaches & my pains.
A very simple google search can tell you what is in them, I did it and I encourage you to do so as well. Knowledge is power.
I don't know what's in tattoo ink, botox and fillers, or every ingredient in my soap, shampoo or deodorants. I don’t know the long term effect of mobile phone use, or whether or not that restaurant I just ate at REALLY used clean foods and washed their hands.
I don’t have any tattoos but I became curious so did a little research. Here’s some free info, it’s 80% carbon and some are cadmium or cinnabar based. I also learnt after a quick Google search that many tattoo artists use organic and vegan ink. Well, know you know.
Asked my wife about Botox and if she would get some. At first she got mad at me but when I said why, she literally laughed and said what? Then told me her sister got it and knew the risks but wanted it regardless. Sounds like informed consent happening there.
To be honest, when I was younger I didn’t care what was in my soap, shampoo, and deodorants. Then I became a dad so my wife (especially her) and I can tell you exactly what is all of those. My wife also picked those specific diapers and they weren’t cheap, can tell you that.
I hate what the studies say of the effects of cell phones so my wife and I the Iimit cell phone use in our home. Kids aren’t always happy but health comes first.
I worked in restaurants for many years. Did you know they have regular health inspections. Restaurants have rating for a reason and they can be shut down for stuff like that. I also know what my stomach feels like after eating at certain restaurants and stick to ones that don’t bother me.
There's a lot of things I don't know.
I do know one thing: life is short. Very short. And I, personally, still want to do things. I want to travel and hug people without fear, and find a little feeling of life "before".
Life is short so yes, no government overreach is not going to stop me especially when the Charter of Rights and Freedoms specifically say that my movement cannot be limited as a lawful taxing paying citizen. Today, vaccine tomorrow? My kids deserve better.
Life is short so I hug my family closer than ever especially now. If I’m sick, I take precautions. The world has done this for how ever long it has been around.
Throughout my life I've been vaccinated against many diseases. Measles, mumps, rubella, polio, chickenpox, hepatitis, influenza, tetanus. We trusted the science, and never had to suffer through or transmit any of those said diseases.
Polio is all I’m going to say. So research it but then again anyone who posted this is somehow anti-research. You do know science is research or are you worried you won’t be able to understand it.
I'm vaccinated. Not because I’m a sheep or to please the government. Not to make other people do it.
I’m vaccinated with Pfizer because the government said do this or you can’t feed your family. Like I said earlier, I had no issues getting vaccinated but I wanted to make my own decision on when, what, and how. Like Canadians always done.
But I don't want to:
* die from Covid-19
* clutter a hospital bed if I get sick
* not be able to hug my loved ones
* not be able to travel & enjoy events
* live my life in fear
❣️🙏🏻❣️
Can't say it any clearer

So why is the hospital full of vaccinated people? Don’t believe me, Google it. Oh yes, I forgot you don’t research. Well, that’s all from me, going to give my wife a hug (I did hurt her feelings about Botox) and maybe I’ll get some spanakopita from her out of it.
